Are you struggling with self-criticism, perfectionism, or anxiety, only to find that they’re impacting your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being? Do you feel overwhelmed and frustrated, just trying to navigate through the day?
I’m here to offer you evidence-based and compassionate support tailored to your specific needs, and to guide you towards achieving your goals and finding relief in these challenging areas. Together, we can work towards fostering positive change, enhancing your well-being, and empowering you to navigate life with greater ease.
Approach: I take an individualized approach with clients and incorporate techniques from evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFST), Person-Centred Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theories.
I’ll equip you with the appropriate coping skills and strategies, and we’ll explore your unique strengths, empowering you to make meaningful strides towards personal growth and well-being.
Presenting Concerns: I primarily focus on supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and ASD. With years of experience, I’ve honed my skills in providing compassionate support to neurodivergent and disabled individuals, recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths within each person.
Training/Experience: I am working towards my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Guelph. I am certified in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and applied suicide intervention (ASIST) and have completed additional training in trauma treatment and crisis management.
If you’re seeking a space where your experiences are not only understood but also genuinely valued, I’m ready to support you.
