Have you ever experienced that uncomfortable gut feeling, signaling that something is off?

It's that instant when you become aware that you've crossed your ✨personal boundaries✨

Trust me, it happens to everyone.

So, here are FIVE things you should know, straight from my professional (and personal) experience:

1️⃣ Heightened Anxiety: Feeling uneasy, restless, or panicked indicates that your boundaries have been crossed. Pay attention to these anxious feelings as they signal a violation of personal limits.

2️⃣ Drained or Overwhelmed: Emotional or mental exhaustion after interactions or activities suggests that your boundaries have been compromised. Consistently feeling overwhelmed indicates that others have encroached upon your limits.

3️⃣ Neglecting Self-Care: Declining engagement in self-care activities, such as physical health or meditation practices, signifies a violation of boundaries.

4️⃣Building Resentment: Increasing resentment towards others or situations indicates frequent boundary violations.

5️⃣Ignoring Intuition: Disregarding gut instincts signifies compromised boundaries.

‼️ Remember, paying attention to these signs doesn't mean you've failed.

It's an opportunity for growth and self-awareness 🌱

When you notice anxiety creeping in alongside these boundary violations, view it as your ally, guiding you back towards self-care and asserting your limits.

Love 💣ing is a manipulative tactic used by some individuals to quickly gain the affection and trust of their partner.

It involves showering the other person with ✨ compliments, gifts, and intense attention ✨ in order to create a false sense of intimacy and devotion ❤️‍🩹

Unfortunately, once the love bomber feels that they have secured their target, their behaviour often changes dramatically 🥴

If you suspect that you or someone you know is experiencing love bombing, there are a few warning signs to look out for. These can include things like:

💥 Feeling overwhelmed by your partner's affection
💥 Feeling like the relationship is moving too quickly
💥 Feeling like your partner is trying to control or isolate you from other people in your life

Building greater self-awareness of love bombing in relationships can be a challenge, but it's an important step towards building healthy and fulfilling connections 🫂

👉🏻 One way to do this is to regularly check in with yourself about your feelings and needs in the relationship.

It's also helpful to set boundaries and communicate openly with your partner about your concerns and expectations 🗣️

This includes (but is not limited to) romantic partners, friends, family and colleagues.

📉 When we are unable to communicate effectively with our partners, it can lead to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and a breakdown in trust.

However, in order to communicate effectively, ‼️we must first feel safe in our relationships‼️

We must feel that our partners are trustworthy, and that they are willing to listen to us and respect our thoughts and feelings 🫂

For instance, when people repeatedly fail to take accountability for their actions or words in a relationship, it can lead to a breakdown in communication and trust 💔

When one partner refuses to 🚫 acknowledge their mistakes, it can cause frustration, hurt, and feelings of betrayal for the other individual.

It creates a cycle of 👉🏻 blame, defensiveness, and resentment that can be difficult to break.

I know that anxiety can make it difficult to reach out to others and take those first steps toward building friendships.

It can feel scary to put yourself out there and be vulnerable.

But remember, everyone feels a little nervous about making new friends sometimes.

Instead of focusing on your anxiety, try focusing on the other person.

Ask them questions, show interest in their life, and be present in the moment.

You might be surprised at how much easier it is to connect with someone when you're not worrying so much about yourself.

By being there for others and building meaningful connections, you'll find that you'll attract the kind of people who will be there for you too 🤍

⏰ I was working long hours, constantly checking my email outside of work, and felt like I couldn't catch a break.

It wasn't until I started to 👆🏻 my self-awareness to protect my peace that I was able to resolve this.

I started setting boundaries, learning to say no, and prioritizing my mental health ⚠️

💡 I realized that taking care of myself wasn't selfish, but necessary.

It allowed me to be more present, productive, and happier both at work and in my personal life 🫂

✅ Yep.

In fact, the things that irritate us about other people can often be a result of our own anxieties or insecurities.

✍🏻For example, if we feel anxious about our own abilities, we might become frustrated with someone who seems confident or competent in the same area.

Similarly, if we struggle with social anxiety, we might become irritated with someone who is outgoing or extroverted 🗣️

In this way, our 💥 reactions 💥 to others can be a reflection of our own anxieties and fears.

By recognizing these triggers and working to understand and address them, we can develop greater self-awareness and personal growth 🫂
